Laying low for a few days, but sending warm thoughts to some special pals!

Well......had my little lady operation a few days ago.... I didn't feel a thing..but am under doctor's orders to BE MELLOW. The doctor took mom aside, and told her it would be a challenge, as I was ready to step on the gas and go! And, he even gave me (and a bottle to take home) some "mellowing" pain meds... Ha! Well, in any case...mom has been working hard to keep me BUSY and from my usual zooming all around. It's sort of working.... A little area (yea, really little!) in mom's bedroom office...with lots of stuff to do (she is hoping!)

Golden Samantha's mom http://www.sammiegolden.blogspot.com/ brought me some tasty fatty BONES from our local market! Thank you!!! Been working on those.

Bully stick, kong with peanut butter, squeeky toys....greasy things...mom thinks I have some attention problems, as I just move from one to the other and back around.... I do this with toys too!

On a more serious note, we want to say that we are thinking about all of our special pals around the world that are not doing so well. We send some big warm hugs and get well wishes!
We have made some amazing connections with all of you and will be checking in.

From my day....

Ready???? Let's GO!....Oh...but! I must say...this is light on the harness and collar accessories...with all the training and classes I have been attending, some days I have 4 or 5 different things on me! Grrr. This is a nearby path....an easy walk...and just as we headed out...we saw this tall amazing blue heron. So quiet, I didn't even notice...but, mom sure followed this one.

I was busy....didn't even know I was SO close!

Then the Blue Heron took flight and it was amazing.

THEN I noticed! For sure!

It was low tide in the little canal...all the boats sat in mud for now.

Often during our walks, mom has to lure me with treats or my toys....got one of my walkie balls with me below....

On the way home, from the walk I had to sit near my toys and water bowl....I knew mom was talking to me....but I was using my selective hearing powers....do you have those pals?

Back at home....I LOVE to bug dad! He was trying to watch something called FOOTBALL....and distract me with that sticky...but, I was more interested in what mom was doin'...

Blahhhhhhh! No likey.

Oh! Some of you may remember Dad's HALLOWEEN COSTUME!?!?!?!? The front part? Well....mom wanted to post this....This is what happens (at other people's houses) when you lay the kitty scratcher mat down...... Jump on board kitties! (I was in the car for this...mom visiting friends that foster about 9 kitties at a time.)

Crissy Field began as a marsh and seasonal home of Ohlone Indians, and later hosted Spanish and Mexican ships, a Grand Prix raceway, an historic army airfield, and a Coast Guard station. Today, the shoreline provides both indoor and outdoor amenities, promenade trail, beaches, picnic tables, tidal marsh overlooks, and a nationally renowned windsurfing site, as well as cafés, bookstores, and an environmental education center.

Looking towards downtown San Francisco...the round top structure in the distance is the Exploratorium.
