Oh my mmmmmmmm!
After a clear drive to the
Kirkwood area late Friday afternoon, we woke up Saturday morning to big snows! I had been dreaming about this all summer! Finally, ahhhh.
It was a cold and wintery day on Saturday.
Snow storm? No worries! I'm an all weather gal.
Saturday's storm delivered many more inches of snow and we woke up Sunday morning to blue skies and more of the fluffy white stuff.
It was an amazing day.
Quite a big start for winter in this section of our
Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. I was thrilled!
Lots and lots of playing the 'find it' game and practicing long line powder recalls with mom.
Taking a few seconds break time....
And, off I go....can you find me?
You still there?
Face-plant swimmin'. Wootwoot! A lot of work yet, so much fun.
The weekend went by too fast....and soon we were headed home...
A slow drive down the very slippery mountain roads.
Will definitely be resting up, ready for another visit to the mountains!
Have a nice week friends :)
What a wonderful visit at the mountains with ALL of that snow!!! Wow!! We love playing in the snow, except we have to wear our coats....so we can be seen in the snow!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug

Wow, you got all the snow there! It looks amazing. The even more amazing thing is that you still have the orange ball from last snow season! You're good at NOT losing things!
ReplyDeleteI hear that a la nina year means that you'll get tons of snow and so will our western mountains. But, on the front range, where I live, it'll be pretty dry. Bummer, don't you think?
I hope your parents had fun skiing!
Oh I do so love snow pictures!!!! Especially when it's someone else's snow!! :-)
