Laying low for a few days, but sending warm thoughts to some special pals!

Well......had my little lady operation a few days ago.... I didn't feel a thing..but am under doctor's orders to BE MELLOW. The doctor took mom aside, and told her it would be a challenge, as I was ready to step on the gas and go! And, he even gave me (and a bottle to take home) some "mellowing" pain meds... Ha! Well, in any has been working hard to keep me BUSY and from my usual zooming all around. It's sort of working.... A little area (yea, really little!) in mom's bedroom office...with lots of stuff to do (she is hoping!)
Golden Samantha's mom brought me some tasty fatty BONES from our local market! Thank you!!! Been working on those.

Bully stick, kong with peanut butter, squeeky toys....greasy thinks I have some attention problems, as I just move from one to the other and back around.... I do this with toys too!
On a more serious note, we want to say that we are thinking about all of our special pals around the world that are not doing so well. We send some big warm hugs and get well wishes!
We have made some amazing connections with all of you and will be checking in.
One big special THINKING OF YOU to Max and family in South Africa.

From one of my favorite walkie stops..... Bye for now pals....

  21. Hi Sierrs Rose,
I hope you will be feeling better soon. I'm sure you will. It's nice your mom got you all those great chewy things to keep you busy. Do you have to wear a cone? I did. I didn't like I chewed on it. I was ready to run around in a couple of days but they tried to make me rest. I know you will be back to your old self in no time.

  22. Sierra -
Rest is tough when you just want to play (and zoom). Take it easy - looks like your Mom stocked you up really well with lots of treats. We'll be thinking about you. - Abbey

  23. Hope you heal well and quickly, Sierra Rose, so you can get back to your fun. No conehead?

    woos, the OP Pack

  24. Hi Sierra! I hope you have a speedy recovery.

  25. We are sending many and many tender thoughts fur you ta get lots better really soon! We know it is hard to relax when you are just a puppy but we know you can do it. Why don't you and your momma get on the sofa and watch some Animal Planet?

  26. Hi - we hope you heal well and soon so you can be zooming around again soon.

    Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

  27. I hope you get better soon...but maybe you can still milk it for all it's worth, those are some fantastic chewies and toys ya got there!! Who knows what else you could get!! :)

  28. We hope you're back to 100% soon, Sierra Rose! Staying calm is tough!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  29. You are doing a remarkable job of staying mellow, which entitles you to trash the house once you are cleared. ;)

  30. It looks like you're being good Sierra! When our puppy had to have elbow surgery and couldn't do anything for what felt like *forever*, we froze canned dog food into kongs for him to extract. He loved it - it occupied him for long periods of time.

You'll be feeling great in no time!

  31. wow... Golden girl Sierra has gotten quite big since I was last on the blog scene. She's beawootifuls..
I'm really sad, my boyfriend & I split up so I haven't seen Bell or Samantha (the new puppy) much. I lost my cell phone that had TONS of pictures and video's of them playing @ dog beach. I'm glad I made the blog - but I'm sad I cannot keep it going. I just posted a new blog for a furiend I met @ dog beach that was visiting from Arizona.. She has a Weimy just found out has colon cancer. If you have a moment maybe you could stop by and see my tribute to Lacy the Weimaraner and her Mama Toni..
Glad to see Sierra is well and healthy and growing like crazy...
    take care.. <3 Kimberly

  32. Follow Dr's orders...if you get too active and pull out stitches you might have to wear the dreaded "cone head"...
We've missed you while we were're growing into a beautiful young lady.

I love hearing from you!
