Wet weekend and Award thanks!

Yeaooo!!! Not quite snow...but still super fun! Practicin'..maybe I can enter a Splash Doggies contest! There are competitions all over the country. Wonder if there's a belly flop category?
Here I go...Get my courage up.

Hmmm, couldn't do it...let's try the other side..... Goin' for it!
I'll call that graceful!
We'll take a splash break to give a big thanks to new pal Daisy Mae for this fantastic award!
It you stop by Daisy Mae's site today you may find some delicious COOKIES!!!
So....seven things about ME! Oh gosh... 1) Love SNOW! 2) Re-phrase no.1...I really enjoy playing around in any form of WATER 3) Can't wait to go camping! 4) When mom suspects I've gotten into trouble and can't find me...I'm usually just hanging out somewhere chewing on my stick...good pup 5) However, when we're out and about and I get super excited about somethin', I can really fly around with yipeeee! 6) I can sleep good too...just need LOTS of exercise...And...
7) Very thankful for wonderful pals! Thank you wonderful pals!
Back to my splash practice and ball play.....Fun stuff! And, more fun stuff...referring to number three things about me...what did I mean..can't wait to go camping!!? Looks like I am already out in my camp tent!
Oh yeah, I'm happy!
And, oh yeah....just kidding...we're playing around, testing things out...didn't really go anywhere, as one of my hoomans is not feeling well and it took lots of convincing to JUST STAY HOME and GET BETTER!
And, did a little practicing for the neat, June 10 Bandana Day hosted by The Portuguese Water Blog pals! Must wear at all times..... Even when inspecting bugs in my waters...
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend friends!

  7. That was a less than graceful entry into the pool, but at least you tried (as opposed to some otter like PeeWee dogs who just slither in).

You sure look happy when you are wet.

  14. GREAT action photos. SPLASH! Wow, you're having fun. A funny thing - when my dog K first saw a tent, she was terrified of it. It took a long time to convince her to go into it... That made for a funny first camping trip with her!

Love the La Fuma that it looks like your Dad is hanging out in. I'd say that Memorial Day weekend is made for La Fumas, or vice versa!

  16. Teehee! I love the picture where you aren't quite certain about your jump into the pool! That's me pretty much all the time. But, a friend lives on a small lake, and Abby seems to have an interest in water, so I might give it another try! You look like a happy wet doggie!

  23. I don't get my dainty paws wet if I can help it now..... but looks like you had a great time.
If you get near the beach though make sure you take home as much sand in your coat as you can.... that way you can take the beach home with you..... Tip I picked up in my puppy days.

  25. Sierra, just LOOK at you and what a lovely young dog you have become. It has been our distinct pleasure to share in the journey of your first year.

Let freedom ring from our mountain-tops to our valleys and from coast to coast. Let us NEVER forget the sacrifice of those who came before us, and those who serve now, so we may enjoy the freedoms of our beautiful country!
