Sunday Afternoon

Sunday was quite warm here. Dad and I were playing yet another ball session in the backyard, when mom appeared home early from work. I was happy! Enough time for mom to try more camera lens practice....

..And, a mini-hike on a nearby fireroad.

Don't think there is a name to this road. A short walk, lots of views and wildflowers faintly appearing.
Looking towards Big Rock Ridge.
It was breezy! I loved it!
Posing on a very narrow trail.
We had to remind dad of what poison oak looks like this time of year...waxy, green, bushy..He is quite allergic and there was a lot lining the trail.A pair of Western Bluebirds delighted us in their flights around the trail.

Tending to land near each other.
Sniffing the Monkey Flowers.
Ahhh... Nice.
Have a great week pals!

  9. Your Mom is doing very well with the flashy box for sure - you look so beautiful in all your shots. We can even see your furs blowing in that wind. Tell Dad to be careful with that poison oak - that wouldn't be much fun.

we hope you have a great week to.

  17. We saw bluebirds yesterday - I wonder if they were the same ones? If I see them again, I'll ask them to tell you hi for us.
That's a gorgeous walking path. Our parents name all of our routes - they're kind of silly.
    Luv,
