In my backyard...

Happy end-of-weekend friends! ...I know, never nice to end a weekend... Mom's has the sickies...too much work stress...not enough sleep...

Easy to pick up bugs, she said. She'll be ok, just needs a few days of rest...

And probably more quality ball tossing time with ME!

I'm patient. Ready when you are Orange Ball.
I reminded mom of the nice places we visit when she is feeling super
...which I hope will be SOON!
I found a few more pix to share from our in Lake Tahoe visit a few weeks back... SWIMMING!

I was on a super duper long line...and of course someone was still worried that I would swim out to greet the passing duckies and geese...like I did last summer at D.L. Bliss..

I still had lots of fun in the chilly waters, and there were some great views at every turn.

With the HOT days we've had recently, the snow from a few weeks back is melting quite a bit.

I'm always up for a mountain visit...snow or sun! For now, we'll get mom better, and enjoy the sunsets from our little upstairs balcony where I can look out, and keep an eye on mom too.

    I hope your Mom feels better soon! We know how that sickie thing goes; Dad is still 'under the weather' and Mom keeps fighting things off because she's all stressed and doesn't sleep well. We drag them both out on long walks in an attempt to get Mom to sleep better and to make Dad feel better. We definitely think your Mom will feel better if she gets in some quality tennis ball time! ;-) Take care of your humans!

    Take good care of your Mom until she feels good enough to toss orange ball again. Mebbee she shoulda jumped in the water with you to freeze them dogonne bugs so she wouldn'ta took 'em home with her. You sure do have some beautiful places to romp, Sierra! (I looked at your birthplace too-WOW!) Anytime you feel the need for my Brown accompaniment, just call and I'll be there in a flash!

    Pee. Ess. - The skunk pic from last week was shown 'cuz I REALLY did have a hold of a skunk last Monday. It was a young'n and Dad made me let him go but not before lettin' me with some really bad breath and not one but TWO baths!!!!

    Sierra Rose, You are such a GOOD dog with a mighty big heart! I sure hope your Mom feels better by now. I want to let you know that where I live, in Summit County, CO, there is a ski area (A-Basin) that is still open over the 4th of July. I'm not skiing anymore though - I'd rather hike in the summer. That Lake Tahoe looks like a great swimming hole!
