A big greeting to all my pals! As usual, time has been passing too quickly... and Winter...what Winter? It's been much too dry here.
We have made just a few weekend trips to the mountains... A favorite stop on the way home, these boulders are usually covered in the fluffy white stuff...

A short hike takes us to Silver Lake. Clouds roll by teasing us with an evening dusting of snow... Most storms have NOT tracked our way this season.
No snow where we are. But looks like for a good outside hike.
ReplyDeleteLots of licks,
Swisher and Oakley
We have missed you Sierra!! Hope you are enjoying yourself!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteReally miss your winter pictures and we are so glad to see those awesome pictures again.
ReplyDeleteLast year was so much more fun than this year is for the snow, Sierra Rose. At least you're getting a little bit to play in!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Mitch
Woof! Woof! Golden Hello! Great to see a post from you. You have a great winter. We had a mild winter not much snow but mom is not complaining. LOVELY photos as always. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteOh, Sierra Rose - you and I are in the same situation - not enough snowpack! If you get a good storm, send it our way when you're finished with it. Looks like you made the most of the snow you've got.
ReplyDeleteScout is definitely envying you your snow Sierra! She's begging me to take her north to the cabin to play in the fluffy stuff. You look beautiful as always!!
ReplyDeleteFrom Sammie & Avalon! (accidently deleted)
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwwww - beautiful post! We wish we could have played with you in the snow; but you are right - even tho there is some snow, it's not at all like last year, when we were buried in drifts! Still... you look very happy rolling around in that white stuff with your ball! We are so jelly!
Hugs xoxoxo
Sammie and Avalon
I'm so glad to see you playing in the snow again, Sierra Rose!
ReplyDeleteLook at you rolling in it!
With plenty of sticks to chase, too!
I know, this has been a strange winter without too much precipitation over CA and AZ! Although we had a snow flurry here in Benson, AZ last Tuesday! It was so pretty! Just a week later and we'll be in the 70's!
Fickle Mother Nature!
Belly rubs to you
Hugs to Mom,
Kathy
How beautiful! We haven't had much snow at all here. Right now, it should be snowy and really, really cold and what do we have? Dreadful stuff - sunny and 60. Dad's out golfing. In February! That's just plain crazy!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snow while you can! And really ... can we come over?!!?
Play bows,
Zim
I can really see how much less snow the Sierra Mountains have... Last year's photos showed you bounding through very deep snow - not this year. Maybe spring will bring the snows.
ReplyDeleteDo you know Sophie (From Sophie's View)? Is that her orange ball? Forgive me if you have no idea who I'm talking about...
Hello Sierra Rose! :D
ReplyDeleteYes, I've heard there's been a dearth of liquid (frozen or not) in your area this year. It's been really warm during our winter. Wonder what's up? Hope more snow comes your way soon! :D
Waggin at ya,
Roo
Hi there, we haven't had much of a winter either. I can see why you'd need the long line. So, not much skiing either huh?
ReplyDeleteWinter was short this year!

We're with you on the dismal snow situation this year! :(
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been very unusual too this year...rain all the time just like last spring and summer...hope this does continue...good to see you got out and trekked a bit...Cheers!
ReplyDeleteIt's been hot here - as shown by my wearing shorts and a t-shirt today. We will have a very hot and dry summer!
