Well....after dad working late Friday eve, Saturday morning we piled into the camper and off we went to the little town of Duncan Mills and camped by the Russian River. As promissed, mom pumped up the boat, and we had a paddle Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning..... Weather was on the foggy / chilly side, but the sun peeked through a few times...and the campground was more full than mom and dad have ever seen!!!
There was lots to see, and interesting stuff too.....

I am a pretty serious looking kayaker here....lots to see...mom thinks I may have been eye-balling her hairdoo again! (I didn't go after it this time)

This campsite was on CNN! The two gals who were here, stay for 30 days and have been coming here for THIRTY YEARS! The site has evolved over the years, but they are becoming quite famous at this point.

Sunday afternoon, dad headed off on a 3 hour bike ride out to the coast....mom was happy, as he was EXACTLY 3 hours, didn't get lost, didn't get a flat, and had enough food. So, I helped lick off that salty sweat and get dad ready to head home....

What great fun! I can't imagine going in a boat and being"allowed" in the lake. I'm so jealous I don't know what to do. I've got to get Mom to take me out of the city for a weekend - SOON. Maybe I'll nap in front of the A/C - again :(
