Funny Monday start and little walk in the park....

Hi ya pals! Well....here's the start to the day...I'm not sure what the big deal was, but mom seemed kinda mad...(I think I saw tears...). We went to our usual parkie...but some areas were closed so, we couldn't do our usual walk/run/sprint...and I was really riled up...snaggling everything, even mom! So, she piled me back in the car thing, and we drove over to the other enclosed parkie...I was SO excited to be there! Mom put my lead on, and I jumped out of the car, pulling her really hard! Well, just as she was locking the door of the car, with her key (lost the clicky thing at the parkie a few months ago), I gave some pretty big pulls......AND THE KEY SNAPPED IN HALF! Leaving HALF THE KEY IN THE LOCK!! Mom was pretty baffled. Oppppppppps! Wow! What?!?! Grrrrrrrr.... [ Fortunately, after a few calls....dad saved us, as he works nearby...mom found a spare key at home, but the AAA locksmith was too busy to dig out the key pieces....so, this problem is to be continued! Grrrrrrrr.....]
Ok. On to later in the day.... We got to go to a favorite walkie...mom and I....come along...I think you might like this one.....
Me! Ready to GO! The bridge is back!!! The fog decided to put it back, right?
Rock garden.
I know! Look at that! Some seals were playing around.

Mom makes me go up these long stairs as part of our walkie.....good grief!
Ok! Yes! The top of the stairs....
It was a nice day. Around we go.....walkie walkie.....
And, back around.....
Follow me...there's this little trail....lots to sniff!
Hang on mom....got some stuff to check out...
Back down those stairs....come on slow poke!
Whew! We did it! Nice walk. Let's hang out here a minute.
Alright! See ya again soon pals!

  6. Sierra Rose! Hey little one, you can't go breaking off keys in the car...cars are important things!!! They get us doggies around to beautiful areas we can't really walk to. Go easy on mom next time!
Thank you though for all the beautiful pictures of your walk - it was like being there right with you!

  8. We think that you should give your momma lotsa' licks on the nose to tell her that you are sorry about how to contributed to the death of the car key! Good thing that your dadda could come to save the two of you.

Great photos again! You are lucky that your momma didn't just go home and hit the "sauce" after the key broke!

Wow, things sure look nicer when that old fog goes away! Those stairs look like a lot of work to me. Also, there were lot's of them! Makes me tired . . . :) Glad you had a nice day, but sorry about the key thingy.

We are glad you eventually had a fun day - pics were great.

  18. Your poor Mom! I'm glad she had a phone so Dad could save you. Man, you are so lucky to have such a beautiful place to live and walk. The photo of you up on the wall enjoying the view reminds me of a photo Luna recently posted :)

  21. Heehee! I love how you get in position to best see the seals! And all those stairs! Cool! I love stairs! Except that I think I'd go up them faster than mom would, and that might take some of the fun out of them! Thanks for sharing your walk! (And sorry to hear about your Mom's key... Ugh!)

  22. Wow - that's a lot of walking! I'm kind of walk funny up and down the stairs and am still gaining my confidence. I loved all those beautiful views you saw and I bet there were a lot of neat smells! That's too bad about your mom's key! Glad you were able to make it home okay!

  24. Hi Sierra Rose:

Whatta day you had. My Mom is like Lorenza's with the broken key, she would have used lots of HBO words. But your scenery and the bridge photo is beautiful and as Shakespeare said: Alls Well that Ends Well!

    Kisses,
    Stella

  27. Sierra Rose! We've seen your name all around as we've read comment on other doggies' blogs, and we were really happy when you stopped by our blog. We love new friends and are excited to get to know you! We'll be back when life isn't quite so crazy (we are digging out of snow!) and get to know you! We know, already that you must be in that beautiful city San Francisco! Moma spent three months there at a place called Laguna Honda Hospital. Is it still there? It's probably an antique mall by now.

    We'll be back

  30. Oh I got scared with the photo of you jumping up near the water. Don't jump Sierra Rose!

It looks like you had perfect weather and a lovely day out. Good thing you knew where the trails were so your humans could follow you.
