Sunday afternoon hike around Lake Lagunitas

Ready to go folks!
Looking at Mt. Tamalpais, our local and lovely 'big' mountain, with redwood groves and oak woodlands. A spectacular view from the 2,571-foot peak.
On the 2 mile trail around Lake Lagunitas....looking towards Mt. Tam. Lake Lagunitas is part of our Marin County Watershed. This area, held in trust as a natural wildland of much biological diversity, as scenic open space is a great place for hiking, biking, bird watching.... We had a nice time!
A WINDY DAY! Mom and I hiked, dad biked and we met along the trail.....
A blue heron that had just caught something.....beautiful sight.
Lake Lagunitas in photo above.
This is Bon Tempe Lake. Also contains our drinking water....Wavy today!
Hi mom! Yes, I know...a chilly afternoon...I'll give you kisses....
Mmmmmmm.....my kong!
Ridin' home.....got a front seat view....with dad
Ahhhhh....let's go home.
And, back at home....a bath for me?!?!! No likey! Mom and dad say I smell good and I got a nice treat after! Ok, it wasn't so bad....Grrrrrrrr....

  3. Hey Sierra,
That looks like a very pleasant day hiking around the lake. It is fall so time to expect a little bit of a chill in the air. The scenry and the wildlife around the area is very pleasant and relaxing.

  10. Glad you had a nice day. But sorry about the bath thing. I'm not crazy about that either. Thanks for the suggestions on chewy stuff. My little brother is already getting in trouble for that! He chewed the corner off of a rug in 2 seconds flat!

    Kisses,
    Emma Rose

  15. Hi Sierra Rose,

What a lovely outing! Wish we could have been there too. But knowing our mommy, she probably would have slid down a hill!

Thanks so much for your sweet message. It cheered her up!
