Home from the weekend. Can't believe how much snow melted in just one week! Where'd my snow go?
Still a good time though. A beautiful sunset as we drove home through the Sacramento Valley this eve.
Crashed out for the ride home. Have my new seatbelt on, with lots of wiggle room.
Ah, the beautiful mountains...
The sun was out this weekend, and so were the outdoor chairs and hanging out.
Snowy ground turned back to dirt.
I found things to snaggle...of course!
Delicious branches.
And, then there's the eve bbq's with beautiful backdrop. Still CHILLY with mountain breezes.
Mom always needs a hug.
Sunday morning... some younger camper neighbors, out to give me breakfast greetings!!
Had to stop by the bbq guys on my morning walkie.
Out for a lap around the meadow with mom and dad. A bit on the crunchy snow side, but still a good time. Did a bit of "skijoring" with mom. I'm pretty FAST!
Ahhhhhhh.....thirsty.
Season's not over yet, but with the warm temps, there are definitely signs of melting...bye bye giant icicles!
Wow, you have some great pictures there! My favorite is Sierra sleeping in the car :) You guys are probably a bit sad that spring is here, but some of us are actually a bit giddy, lol.
ReplyDeleteHey there Sierra!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fabulous weekend! BUT it still looks so....

Hi Sierra, wonderful pics although we are glad to see signs of Spring. Those icicles were very impressive.
ReplyDeleteOur favourite pic today was you giving your mom a hug - we know these moms can be high maintainence but you are doing a great job!
The Sacramento Valley is something we have only heard of in movies!!!
You look very well behaved in the car - we are showing that picture again to Bailey!

WOW great pics! Looks like you had a fun time!
ReplyDeleteSorry, we are behind! You went camping? That's awesome! Looks like it was a ton of fun! And that is one huge icicle formation - hope it doesn't fall on any one as it melts!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of you sacked out in your seatbelt. So cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteI saw the La Fuma chairs out - it truly must have been springlike. We used to backcountry ski in that area into late May... but we'd have to hike high into the mountains to find the snow.
Glad that you had a fun weekend. Keep giving mom lots of hugs!
Those giant icicles are awesome! Your mom takes great pictures, Sierra Rose!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
Great pictures that show what a great time you had!! Our snow in Virginia is gone, but I'm afraid to say that too loud, I might jinx it and cause it to return!! Hope your week is off to a good start!
ReplyDeleteSierra, thank you so much for taking us camping and cross country skiing. I loved it. Great photos
ReplyDeleteTwinkie
Such really fantastic photos you have for today's post - simply gorgeous!!! It sounds like you had another fantastic weekend. We had snow on Saturday and it was so much fun runing and playing in it. But today the warm sun came back and 8 inches of beautiful white fluff is all gone:( But Mom says the pretty flowers and green grass and blossoming trees will be here soon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Sierra Rose.

I can't believe all of our fun is melting. I am sure you will miss the snow as much as me. I think we were born to be snow dogs.

Another great weekend in Sierra's world! Never say never to more snow...our foot from the weekend is already melted, but word has it that another wave is on the way for tomorrow. We can only hope!
ReplyDeleteSay, did you get any nom noms from the BBQ guy? Looks like he was about to throw you something to eat.
ReplyDeleteSo nice that you get to go camping all the time. Over here they closed all the campsites from Nov-mid Apr. No fun!

I suppose it's happy and sad to have the snow season coming to a close. What will you do when there's no snow, Sierra?! Your mom must have a lot of other fun trips up her sleeve!
