A tidal marsh. Home to egrets, sandpipers, mallards, geese and many others. I'm just watching...lots of movement. This county has a diverse fall migratory bird population, and this area is quite popular for bird walks.

Morning walks.....
Most mornings, mom and I make the 5 minute drive to McInnis Park for a walk, jog, and sometimes sprint...(but mom never wears the right shoes to keep up with me). Looking out towards Mt. Tamalpais...this is the path we like to take.

This is the momma speaking: A long time ago I asked my sister what it was about CA that kept people there with the hight cost of living. All Diane said was that it must be the terrian and the weather. After reading your blog and Golden Samantha's for these past months, I see that she was right. You live in paradise.
ReplyDeleteNot that the Great Lakes are chopped meat but we don't have the mountains and the year-round climate - unless you like feet of snow.
Enjoy your fall, little one, you have such good PAWrents - you are blessed.
Sierra that looks like a fun place to walk!! I used to have a place like that where we used to live , me and mom loved to walk there. Mom wanted me to thank your mom for trying to find who makes the rock pup statues.

What wonderful pictures! You're very lucky to have such a great place for your walks/runs/jogs :)
ReplyDeleteHI Sierra Rose,
ReplyDeleteWe always enjoy your posts. Such beautiful places you get to romp around and play in. We're jealous!
Luv,
Riley and Star.
My mom is too slow for me too. I am trying to convince her to learn how to roller blade. Hehehe.

Oh, Sierra Rose, did you think you were a beaver? You have to keep your Mom in shape by running fast!
ReplyDeleteSam

Oh, that was so interesting. I have never seen such a thing as a tidal marsh.
ReplyDeleteHey there, Sierra Rose
ReplyDeleteTell your Mom we say thank you for sharing that beautiful walk with us! Everything's seems so natural and unspoilt THERE...always a bonus! We too love birds! We have many eagrets here in South Africa and I agree - they are beautiful when they fly.
...And you are growing by the day, Sierra! You look quite different from dear honey, but that's the way it should be, isn't it?
Take care and lotsofcuddles from us all

Domi, the therapy dog, has passed to the Bridge this weekend. Our blog contains her last letter to her friends. Please come to visit. It would mean so much to our momma and then go to Domi's blog to offer condolences. Momma is crying a lot today.
ReplyDeleteHey Sierra,
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasant place for some solitude, a brisk walk and a board to chew on. Big old bench boards are great chew sticks but kinda hard to carry around.

What a beautiful place to go for walkies! Lucky you having a nice place to sniff around..
ReplyDeleteHi Sierra Rose, nice to meet you too! Looks like you know how to have fun! The mountains you saw were not part of the Sawtooth Range....they are part of the Cascades! :)
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Nala
I'm fine and how I see you have a beautiful life. Quite a lot of hugs and kisses
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely spot! Sierra Rose you are adorable. :)

Sierra, your Mom should let you toll in some geese the next time! Looks like an exquisite place to bring in the birds.
